Day 1

  1. Lines, angles, and their properties.

  2. Midpoint and distance formula

  3. Finding the length of the sides of a polygon when the vertex coordinates are given.

Day 2

  1. Equations of parallel and perpendicular lines 

  2. Transversals,  parallel lines and related angles.

  3. Problems based on parallel lines

Day 3

  1. Online in class Session A Test 1 based on topics learned this week.
    Test time: 45 minutes.

  2. Remaining time will be used to go over mistakes and discuss results. 

Grade 8  Session A - Week 1

Day 1

  1. Transformations – Translation, reflection, rotation.

  2. Congruent shapes – Sides and angles are congruent

Day 2

  1. Transformations – dilation

  2. similar shapes– sides congruent & angles in proportion

Day 3

  1. Online in class Session A Test 2 based on topics learned this week.
    Test time: 45 minutes.

  2. Remaining time will be used to go over mistakes and discuss results.

Day 1

  1. Congruent triangles 

  2. Tests for congruent triangles

  3. Simple problems and proofs for congruent triangles

Day 2

  1. Congruence of triangles proofs

  2. Sum of all angles of a triangle proof and problems

  3. Exterior angle triangle theorem proof and problems

Day 3
